For all the homey users who has a Daikin Air Conditioner unit equipped with the BRP069C4x wifi contoller thats only connect to the cloud.

After a long process with Athom and Daikin i have finaly all the hardware and documentation to develop the app for homey.

Stay on track on this topic for any news.

Super news. Thanks for all the determination and commitment. I find all other platforms (HOme Assistant, Apple/Google Home etc. are also busy with developing a connection).

For us personally it would be very helpfull if such an ‘app’ would be available. We have just ordered DAIKIN for living room and bedroom although we know all or one specific model (FTX) may probably not work with present app.

So here’s just a cheer and allready many thanks for you all to please be moving on and hopefully develop an DAIKIN ‘Cloud’ app for HOMEY.

@Robjuh That integration is pretty limited. Can choose Heat/Cooling and temp here. Thats all…

Hope the Homey app can support special modes that are available on the remote control too.

Some preinfo about the featureset for the homey app.
Afcourse if the unit support this :slight_smile:

  • On / off mode
  • Powerful mode.
  • Operation mode : auto, heating , cooling, dry, fanonly
  • Fan speed mode : auto, quit, fixed (1-5)
  • Fan direction horizontal mode : swing, stop
  • Fan direction vertical mode : auto, swing , stop.

Unfortunately Ecomode and Streamermode are not (yet) implemented by Daikin

SUPER excited.
I want to use Homey to automatically turn on the air conditioning when there’s excess solar power, trying to pre-cool the house when electricity is free anyway (instead of only cooling in the evening shortly before bedtime, when the amount of solar power starts getting more limited).

Great news,
Code is ready and tested against to PreProduction environment of Daikin.
I’ am contact with daikin so hopefully we can move to there Production environment soon.

Full duplex intergration for:

  • On / off mode

  • Powerful mode.

  • Operation mode : auto, heating , cooling, dry, fanonly

  • Fan speed mode : auto, quit, fixed (1-5)

  • Fan direction horizontal mode : swing, stop

  • Fan direction vertical mode : auto, swing , stop.

  • temperature setpoint for mode, auto, heating and cooling.

  • roomtemperature and outdoortemperature are there to but only as update.

Basic flows for on/off and temperature are there as default.
In the mean time i need to wait for Daikin i create some more flowcards.
