# \[APP\] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

Some reasons to use the gateway can be found [here](https://community.homey.app/t/aqara-xiaomi-smart-home-zigbee-app-v0-8-0/156/1928).  
I have 3 aqara gateways connected, with a total of 30+ sensors and actors integrated in Homey.

When you order a new version, you will nee to do [this](https://community.homey.app/t/xiaomi-mi-home-app-for-wifi-devices/118/651) if you want to connect it to your Homey.  
So, basic soldering and some extra hardware (€15,00) is needed.
