# Any way to modify a tag in Homeyscript?

I would like to modify a tag (specifically for Countdown) in Homeyscript. Is this possible?

Hi Johan,

Thanks for the feedback. I found this yesterday and haven’t updated my request.

The problem is that this script only modifies a Homey tag. Not the countdown tag…

This is not possible, you can only set and modify HomeyScript Tags.

As Dijker says you can not modify the Countdown tag directly from Homeyscript, what you have to do is to modify an Homeyscript variable and then in the flow set the Countdown variable to the value of the Homeyscript variable.
