Hello team,

I am quite new to Homey and I wanted to create a simple flow that will alert me based on detection if I left a light on (step 2 would be to switch off lights but let’s just send a notification for now).

Basically send me a push notification if nobody is at home but one of my light is still on.

There is a way to select “all lights” but I can’t find another option that would be appropriate in my case.

Do you have suggestions ?

it would be useful to know what lights you have, are they connected directly to Homey or through a hub like Hue, that is connected to Homey?

They are connected via Zigbee2MQTT

It’s a bit unclear at first, but the trick is to use the “All [type] devices are turned off” and then right click on the card and chose Invert. Then you get “Not All [type] devices are turned off”.

And you Could extend dsdevries flow with the “not all light devices are turned off” to turn them off so you don`t need to worry, they will turn off when you leave.

Or just do it and not checking. many apps by light manufacturers do this check internally anyway before they actually send the command. And it’s a very simple command on a time where nothing is happening so much anyway, and you’re not even there to realize that it was a bit slower than usual.
