# Amazon Alexa Disconnect Frequently

Hello
I have Amazon Alexa by Jamie Peake.
Everythink is worlking fine from flows to apps links.
But the Amazon Alexa app cannot stay linked to my Amazon account, give me the result of no Homey control of my amazon devices neither Amazon devices talking with Homey flows.
Here is the view of the issue, can anyone has solved or help me solve this status ?

I also have this problem and it seems to increase in the last couple of months. In the past it got problems once a week, now it’s daily and its very often not even working if the app show „connected“. Im using it very heavily to get information about status changes but it’s not reliable anymore.
Is it possible to help by providing any logs?

Anyone have a solution yet?! Its starting to get annoying.. having to restart the app every day almost.. sometimes twice a day! My spotify is connected via the spotify app.. But it plays on the alexa speakers around the house. That too requires a restart - So i am certain its an alexa problem.

I read somewhere about people having 2 profiles being connected being a problem. While I dont have 2 profiles - I have connected alexa in a 2-way of sorts. One to list the Echo devices on Homey via the alexa app and the other via the skills on alexa to import some devices connected exclusively on homey to alexa. I dont have much need for importing devices to alexa from homey, so decided to disconnect that skill today, in the hope that it sorts things. Will update here in a day or 2, if that fixes things.

You are aware of the fact you can automate app restarts as well? Enable Experiments \> Power User, and additional flow cards appear under “System”.

This is pointless. It’s not the restart. You have to reconnect it to one of the 3 Alexa servers. Which you can’t automate in Homey.

Just to update here! my ticket has been re-opened and Athom is looking into the issue! I would suggest to anyone with this issue just log a support ticket as it will help put some weight behind the issue for all of us. Carl I know you have.
