# Alphabetical sorting / manual ordering of Favorite Devices

Hi Homey/Athom,

Could you please add an option to automatically sort devices alphabetically in the Favorite Devices widget?

With many devices, manually dragging them into alphabetical order is extremely cumbersome. Worse, when dragging a device, the tiles jump around and it becomes very difficult to place them accurately.

In 2026, a simple **“Sort A–Z”** option seems like a very basic usability feature. Ideally, the widget should offer:

- Sort A–Z
- Sort Z–A
- Manual ordering

Please consider adding this. It would make managing a large number of devices much easier.

I have found manual sorting of favourites within the mobile app to be very buggy. With some favourite devices getting stuck after moving a couple of places. Then having to go to a desktop browser to be able to actually move them to the desired order. It’s a little frustrating.
