# Alexa does not recognize the Fibaro Roller Shutter 2

I installed three Fibaro Roller Shutter 2, two in the shutter and one in the awning.  
The problem is that the roller shutters are the only devices not recognized in Alexa.

A workaround is to use the groups app and create a light device with dim capability and group the roller shutters. This makes it visible to Alexa.

Hi.

This is a old topic, but the problem is still there.

How can I add the rollershutter to the light device? In the group app it does not recognize the rollershutters, as soon I use light and dimm…

I have them included as shutters, only with the ability dim in the group, but meanwhile the shutters are recognized by Alexa, they must be marked as favorites in Homey.

Hey. I addes the roller shutters to my favorites, but still no visibility on Alexa. And the workaround with grouping does also not work, as soon as i choose “dimmable” on the group app, i only can see my dimmers but no roller shutters ☹ any idea?
