Welcome to this platform Bas,

If there’s no [APP](https://homey.app/nl-nl/apps/browse/#filter?query=Ajax&platform=local) for this device, you can’t add it to your Homey. There are generic devices, but not for cameras.

That’s not entirely true, Ruud.
The TS wrote the cam already works with the Onvif Camera app. This works with _any_ camera supporting the generic ONVIF protocol.
But, in case of no snapshot functionality, it needs a specific developed app.

Please use the Onvif camera app topic for your questions, as mentioned at the app page @ homey.app store.
This way you reach the developer and fellow app users much better.

I’ve two Reolink cams, one has the same problem you mentioned, because it has no webserver to provide for the pictures.
You can _ **test** _ it in a browser, by copying the URL mentioned at cam Settings \> _Onvif Snapshot URL_ , like this one from my cam:

 ![Screenshot_20250831_183510_Firefox](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/1/7/17142283c709fba6ad4296887e1ae7900db6013e.jpeg)

In these cases, you’ll need a specific app written for your cam brand/type.

.
Test tool:

> [@\[APP\]\[Pro\] Support for ONVIF compatible cameras (Release 2.0.51, Test 2.0.52)](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-support-for-onvif-compatible-cameras-release-2-0-51-test-2-0-52/28377/1781):

> There’s an app you can run on a PC called ODM. It is useful for checking ONVIF compatibility of cameras.

Hey Bas,
