# AI Extensions and tools for Homey

Hi,

I’d love to see **AI tools added to Homey** , similar to what Raycast has done with their [AI Extensions](https://manual.raycast.com/ai-extensions).

Imagine being able to:

- Just type **“Add logging of this flow to the timeline”** and Homey inserts the right cards.
- Use AI to **generate a flow** from a sentence like:  
_“Turn off lights at 23:00 unless the TV is on.”_
- Let AI **summarize a log** , rephrase a notification message, or clean up a variable value.
- Use AI inside flows to **parse webhook data** , generate formatted text, or even write announcements like  
_“Motion detected in the kitchen at 07:45.”_

This could be built into Advanced Flows as an **AI action card** , or as a toolbox for generating and editing flows with natural language.

Maybe this is already in the works?

You can always use homey scripting to pass a prompt to aistudio and use the return iin a variable.
