If you are opening up a custom user prompt for extra context, here is a small thing to consider from someone who has messed around with smart home LLM prompts: give users a few templated examples or a tiny guide.

Most regular users won’t know how to talk to a system prompt. If they just type “I use German and English,” the AI might get confused about whether that’s an instruction or just a comment. Showing them how to structure it, for example: “Context: My device names are in German, but I will give commands in English”, makes a massive difference in how reliably the AI catches it.
