# Advace Flow not working

I have a situation that involves three independent Aqura contact sensors that independently can turn on my Garage lights. This works fine.The problem comes in when I want the lights not to turn off until all three contact sensors clear It doesnt seem to work. I have tried writing an advance flow and maybe I am just not doing something right. HELP

Welcome Patrick,

Here’s how I prefer to control lights without being left in the dark

If the 3 sensors are sitting in the same zone, you can use zone activity;  
When using zone activity, it works like this:

- one / several / all sensors active: zone = active
- no sensors active: zone = inactive

Another advantage: you can add, remove, replace sensors without the need to edit the flow.

Here are two more options, just for your information:

1. Using the [\< group \>](https://homey.app/a/com.swttt.devicegroups) app to group all sensors. However, this app is only compatible with Homey Pro.
