Is there a way to activate an all-day scene in an (advanced) flow? I can see all individual flows which are part of the all-day scene but I would like to just enable an all-day scene directly to ensure the lights in all rooms connected to the scene behave as I want without having to go through them individually in the flow. This also allows for much easier tweaking the lights in the Hue app as well as setting up transition times much more easily and then just letting the scene start from Homey.

Alternatively, if I could simulate a button press on a Hue remote as a “then” card this would ensure new functionallity can always be hacked right into Homey by having a spare remote and just sending the button press to the bridge (not sure if this is even possible but thought of the workaround while messing about trying to get it to work).

Perhaps this is not what you want or a solution for you, but if I understand you correctly you have different flows that set the lights and you want to switch them all on with one press on a button.

You could make a flow that starts with the “start” option and use the “Start flow” in the THAN part. Connect multiple “Start flow” cards in this flow and they start when you press just one button.

I do not know how the Hue Bridge Pro works, but if you can start the current flows now via this bridge, you should be able to start this new flow as well.

But perhaps I’m missing something, or don’t understand your problem correctly, so please let me know if this could be a solution or if I’m way off 🙂

The issue is a bit different. In Hue I can set “All-day scenes” which are scenes consisting of up to 6 other scenes with specific times to transition and a transition duration. They just appear in the “Scenes” section of the hue app as a regular scene. When starting this scene in Hue all lights automatically transition to the right setting for the time and change over to the next according to the scenes settings. However, in Homey all I can see are the individual scenes of which the “All-day scene” is comprised of plus the regular scenes added to the room. Not the “All-day” scene itself.

Of course, this could be programmed into an advanced flow but this takes loads of work to set up as well as maintenance if I ever want to change anything.

Ideally, the “All-day scenes” should just show up in the app like all other scenes. Alternatively, I imagine sending a “remote button press” from a Hue remote from Homey to the Hue bridge where that button is programmed to start the scene, but I’m not sure if that’s possible either (not in the standard Hue app for sure).
