hi @Frans_Keeman do you have a link to the K2000? I’m interested in one as well. Thanks!

Ok, was curious. I just got the power supply and K2000. Waiting for fibaro binary sensor now to see if I can make it work in a practical way

Thanks to DaneedeKruyff to give me the tip. I bought a hole set at ‘betaalbaredomotica.nl’ and it works perfect for me. Was quite a struggle to get it working and also to configure the correct flows but very ok now.

That keypad is cheap as chips… Sadly lacking WAF as it’s ugly as sin.

Ideally would like one that’s pretty and works with homey…

Ah yeah. And the fibraro or similar module…

The Popp one is probably the closest but tbh that’s still pretty ugly!

I’m wondering if something like a square or izettle reader could be modified to serve this purpose

At AliExpress there are loads of beautiful types…even with fingerprint scanner. If you use the fibaro sensor with it you can use those alsof.as long it goed on and off

Problem then is that there is in essence only one user - I like to have different scenes for different users (e.g. cat sitter doesnt get the heating turned on)

Seems like there are a bunch of keypads referenced here for use with SmartThings

Anyone clever enough to convert that handler for Homey use?!!

Can anyone post some ideas (or a how to) on how to make/construct a keypad from e.g. Ali and combine it with some kind of sensor (Fibaro binary?) so it works with homey? For instance the idea @DaneedeKruyff had?
Thanks!

Unfortunately I haven’t been able yet to build everything together, I did find out the mentioned keypad can not be directly connected to the Fibaro module as the keypad outputs the input voltage on the contacts so the 2 parts need to be isolated from each other.
In the mean time I ordered a [optocoupler board](https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/4-kanaals-12-V-24-V-naar-5-V-Input-Hoge-en-Lage-Niveau-Conversie-Optocoupler/32884616105.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.53f04c4dDAstPY) for that purpose but I am not yet able to build it.

(if you’re not able to solder you can use this [optocoupler board](https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/PC817-4-Kanaal-Optocoupler-Isolatie-Board-Voltage-Converter-Adapter-Module-3-6-30-v-Driver-Foto/32879970752.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.53f04c4dDAstPY))

Thanks for your reply.
The problem is not so much the soldering part, but more the grocery list (what to buy) and how to assemble to make it work…
Looking at how the concept should work (just to see if I got it right / understand it 🙄):
the keypad gives an electrical signal when the entered code is right and that electric signal triggers the fibaro binary switch. With the binary switch signal you can trigger a flow (e.g. turn off/on alarm) in Homey. This is how the concept works?

Yes, that’s correct.

I’ll see if I can make a schematic drawing.

This is a rough schematic drawing:

Think the _Bell_ output acts as a momentary switch, the _Lock_ outputs the input voltage so an optocoupler has to be used there.
