# Ability to select which devices contribute to Zone Activity

I noticed that in the latest 8.0.4 beta there is this changelog line:

- [Device] Add setting to exclude device from Zone Activity.

Presuming this is related to this conversation in the community:

I don’t know if I missed this feature, but it cannot harm to ask.

When a movement sensor is battery operated, the sensor often remains in a state “movement detected” when the battery is empty. This prevents a zone to become inactive until the battery is replaced. I tried to create a flow to exclude a device from zone activity if the battery is almost empty, but this flow card is missing. For example

Off flow:  
**If** sensor reports that the battery of the device is (almost) empty  
**Then** exclude the device from zone activity

On:  
If timeline message is received  
And the origin is “battery” (to do: check the correct message origin)  
And the message contains [device name]  
And the message contains “battery is full” (to do: check message)  
AF: ALL card  
Then include [device name] from zone activity

Have anyone tried this and if impossible, is this a feature request to address to Athom or the app developer (I assume the first).
