The Better logic app has a flow card for number variables when the variable has changed with a certain number or percentage. Would probably solve your issue? You’d still need to get the “Energie” value in a variable, which requires the same problematic trigger card.

Okay I see the problem. I am still not sure if it is a good idea to build in a threshold s.t the flow gets triggered only when a threshold in the diff is reached. Here is why

- you basically do not need this threshold, what you need is to flatten the curve and ignore noise values. A proper way would be to average the measurements over a short period of time and not just compare the last two values. What if a peek consists of multiple measurements? What if a turned on console is not properly detected because the load goes up in multiple, too small steps? I think you still would have false positives
- every app and capability would need to implement this, for example humidity and temperature sensors. You always have noise in these measurements. Therefore this must ve solved with a more generic approach
- as far as I understood the main problem ist that the flow triggers too often. That would also happen with the threshold, for example a TV usually has quiet big consumption differences, so even with a threshold the flow would get triggered too often
- isnt this a generic problem with the measure\_power capability that other apps have too?
- it would be quiet a lot of work:)

I meant that if the app had a built in flow card similar to the Better logic app it would solve the issue, understand that it wouldn’t be possible to use that solution right now.

It’s basically a workaround for the “feature” of disabling flows that trigger too often (however, for some people it also disables flows that’s _don’t_ trigger too often, so it’s buggy). I agree that this shouldn’t really be implemented in apps, Athom should provide a switch to turn off this behaviour for people that don’t want it.

I think they should make it work like it’s supposed to be.

Do you mean its IP address? In that case, you should probably consider giving the RPi a static IP address in your router’s DHCP server settings.

now im testing a static IP adress

Running Deconz in Docker on a Synology NAS, but autodiscover won’t work from Homey after pressing “Authenticate app” in Deconz.
In Docker I’ve set to run Deconz in the same network. So Deconz is now reachable from “NASIP:8080” (I’ve changed the ports). Running the [https://phoscon.de/discover](https://phoscon.de/discover) URL result in the same “NASIP:8080”. What am I missing? 😅

Getting the API Key as described here [https://dresden-elektronik.github.io/deconz-rest-doc/getting\_started/](https://dresden-elektronik.github.io/deconz-rest-doc/getting_started/) works. Adding this with advanced settings to Homey also works. Strange the autodiscover won’t work.

As described somewhere above in the thread you have to be carefull when running deconz within docker or a vm. I’ll add some checks in afuture release but in the basics you actively configured deconz to be not discoverable properly, so there is no way the app or deconz can solve this😅

i have a raspberry pi running deconz-conbee. Every time i restart the rasp or close and open deconz-conbee software i have to re-add the devices in the deconz app on Homey. is this normal ?? Switches and censors in the homey app are not reachable

</div>

No this is not normal. You only need to re-add the devices in homey, not in deconz itself? Are they just disappeared?
If they have all a red exclamation mark this is just because homey lost the connection. In that case this will restore itself after a few minutes

No I did it in homey, but as you say here i think i was to hasty and let it take more time to get the connection between deconz en home restored.
