# 868.8 MHz and homey

Hi,
Im trying to use my garage with homey it runs on 868.8 MHz
I tried to use the developer page and record the signal, but even though I held it like 3cm from the homey it did not detect the signal even though the garage 20m away opened…
What choices are there for 868 signal?
For my 433MHz I bought a broadlink RM pro+ and it kind of works, but the broadlink doesnt communicate with 868
Or do I have to buy something like Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 and install them on my garageport?

I think the issue is that it cannot _decode_ the signal, in which case you won’t be able to get it working with Homey directly.

Is there any workarounds?things I can buy as intermitting devices?or would the best bet just be to instal a roller shutter 3?

I don’t know if there are any intermittent devices, like the Broadlink RM, for that frequency. And can’t comment on the Fibaro device because I never used it 🙂
